Brief
Following the success of Paramount's latest Transformers movie blockbuster 'Age of Extinction, I was tasked with developing an eyecatching Home Entertainments POS suite suitable for all retail environments. The stricking movie key art should enabled some innovative concepts to be created, while working within budget challenges. The POS suite needs to consist of pallet displays, cross category displays, arches and a selection of FSDU's suitable for a variety of retailers.
Execution
An innovative POS suite was created, that took full advantage of the strong key art images from the movie. The main characters Optimus Prime, Grimlock and Bumblebee were used in a variety of ways to bring the POS to life. The units were designed to engage the shopper by drawing them into the unit, through the use of dramatic large scale character lug ons and layering.
Reaction
The initial reaction to the displays in-store was that they offered impactfull solutions, that helped draw in the customers for the initial launch day. The displays received rave reviews from the client, its customers and also fellow visual merchandisers.
